So is life.
I started out wanted to just talk about the filth in the wonderful city, because it's pretty impressive. I've lived my whole life in old, dirty cities, and when I did spend last year in Chicago, I realized how important the dirt was to the experience. I freaked out. Then I started playing with some of the images I had collected and decided to do a quick art project for each post and add a random word to each picture. I use a random word generator at watchout4snakes.com and place the word on top of a crappy cell phone picture. I must admit I'm not really a photographer, and I'm not really in the mood to pretend to be one this semester, but I do always have my phone with me. I think the pictures are passable for the web.
So this blog is about perception, context, and filth. Enjoy.
